Diocesan Safe Environment

We encourage all parents to participate in a session online so they are able to volunteer in the classroom, chaperone field trips, etc. Please click on the Safe Environment Link.

All employees of the Diocese of Owensboro must take Safe Environment Training and have a Background check every 5 years. Other diocesan policies for hiring of employees must also be followed.
All adult volunteers in the Diocese of Owensboro who work with children and youth must take Safe Environment Training and have a Background check every 5 years.
All children registerd in Catholic Schools or Parish Faith Formation programs must receive Safe Environment training each year, unless their parent/guardian have signed a formal opt-out form.
