OCHS Governor’s Scholars Named

Congratulations to the following students who have been awarded the distinction of being named the 2008 Governor's Scholars - Jessica Goetz, Ben Helms, Kristin Miller, and Parker Whitehouse. These students have been selected among hundreds of very competitive applicants.
These juniors will participate in a five-week residential summer program for outstanding Kentucky students. Established in 1983, the Governor's Scholars Program provides academic and personal growth in a challenging, non-traditional experience that balances a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience.
Jessica Goetz, the daughter of Andrew and Janet Goetz, is a member of St. Stephen parish.
Ben Helms, the son of Vicki Helms, is a member of Third Baptist Church.
Kristin Miller, the daughter of Paul and Tracy Miller, is a member of St. Augustine parish.
Parker Whitehouse, the son of Richard and Lori Whitehouse, is a member of Blessed Mother parish.
