Summer Tutoring
Brescia is offering a summer tutoring program to local students who need extra educational support. Tutoring will take place at Brescia University. Services will be provided by Brescia students in the education program and alumni. If interested, please see, call or email Vickie Warren.
Reminders
Mid–quarter review will be April 29th. Progress reports will be sent home May 1st or 4th.
Coke Fundraiser deadline is Wednesday, April 29th. All orders must be turned in by this date.
Join us at the Diocesan Rainbow Mass on Thursday, April 30th at the SportsCenter, 10 AM. Parent permission slips due April 23rd.
On May 1st 4-6 Campus students will travel to Fischer Park to join in the Race for Education. Parent permission slips due April 23rd.
Please pass on our invitation to grandparents to join us for Grandparents Day on May 7th. Mass at 9 AM and crowning of the Blessed Mother followed by “tea and cookies” in the Blessed Mother Parish Center.
Smoke-fee Education
Next Tuesday, Sherry Krampe, School Heath Coordinator, and Jennifer Wilson, School Heath Tech, will be presenting each student with a packet of materials to educate about the dangers of smoking and second-hand smoke. The goal is to promote a life-long attitude of choosing to live smoke-free. Supplies were provided by Tobacco Control of Green River District Health Dept and the Michael E Horn Family Foundation. Each student will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a mini basketball and hoop promoting living tobacco-free. Drawing will be on April 30th. Watch for the winner in next week’s newsletter.

LOOK WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE 4-6 CAMPUS!
Students in Mr. Calhoun’s science class practice using microscopes in the lab. They learned the various parts of a microscope and their functions as well as the proper technique to mount slides and bring them into focus.
