OCMS Open House
A Parent Information Night and Student Open House for all current and prospective families interested in OCMS will be held on Tuesday, February 17 beginning at 7:00 pm.
Scheduling information and extracurricular information will be available as well as a chance to meet the faculty and staff.
Cafeteria News
On Friday, February 20th, we will be serving Little Caesar’s Pizza for lunch. Please complete the attached form and return to school by Tuesday, February 17th.
Office Notes
• We are very pleased to see so many families at the Catholic Schools Week Book Fair and Movie on Monday, January 26th. Your support is what makes our school special. Thank you!
• The World Finest Chocolate Fundraiser was kicked-off Thursday. We appreciate your support of this OCS fundraiser. The sale will end on February 27th.
• Mid-quarter progress reports will be send home on Friday, February 20th. Please review this report with your child.
• Please keep the students at the 4-6 Campus in your prayers as they receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Thursday, February 19th.
An Elementary Volleyball camp will be hosted beginning Monday, February 16. The camp is open for all boys and girls in grades K-6. The camp will be held at the Annunciation Center at the Elementary K-3 Campus beginning at 6 pm for the first night. Please register the first night of camp.
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
Next meeting will be Thursday, February 26th at the OPS 5-6 Center. from 5:30-7:00 pm. For more information, contact Tonya Barr at 686-1159.
School is in session on Monday, February 16. This is a scheduled make up day from the ice storms.

LOOK WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE 4-6 CAMPUS!
Sarah Riney and Caroline Hayden find prepositions while using the new document camera (Elmo) in Mrs. Castlen’s English class.
Fourth grade students participated in a production of the International Bluegrass Music Museum with assistance from Theatre Workshop of Owensboro on Thursday, Feb. 12th. The students, dressed as children from the 1800’s, performed in three vignettes. The fourth graders helped to compose one of the songs.
