Coca-Cola Fundraiser
Last Monday the order forms went home with the oldest child in each family. Each family is asked to sell 10 cases to raise money for technology in our schools. Order forms need to be turned in by Tuesday, March 25th. You may make a donation if you would rather not sell the coke products. We ask that you help out as much as you can since the money will benefit the whole school.
Pre-Registration
If you have not already turned in your pre-registration form, please do so ASAP. You may turn the forms in at any of the four OCS sites. It is essential to our system to have an accurate account of the number of students who will be attending OCS so that we can plan for staffing and class sizes.
PTO Nominations
It is time to nominate Executive Board Officers for the 2008-09 school year. If you or someone you know would be interested in this opportunity, please see contact Al Thompson or Jerry Kuntz.
Happy Birthday !!

Academic Team
Please keep the 4th and 5th Grade Academic Team in your prayers. They will compete in the Regional Governor’s Cup on Saturday, March 22nd. Good Luck !!!
LOOK WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE 4-6 CAMPUS
DARE Officer, Troy Couch, has visited the 5th grade classrooms for ten weeks this semester. He has informed the students of the dangers of using drugs and alcohol and how to make good decisions. Students are seeing how it feels to be under the influence of alcohol by wearing goggles called Fatal Vision. The students tried to walk a straight line by wearing these glasses.
The fourth grade classes have a spelling bee at the end of each spelling unit. The winner of the 4th spelling contest of the year was Natalie Jones. First runner up was Paul Reid. Second runner up was Bailey Meador.
Students in Mrs. Estes’ science class were using models of series and parallel circuits to find out what happens when a light bulb is removed.
The fourth grade students gathered in Church on Tuesday mornings during Lent to pray the Stations of the Cross. The classes took turns leading the prayers.
