THANK YOU!
I think we just about have all the parent-teacher conferences finished. It took some time to make-up some of the conferences due to the storms, but I think it has been accomplished. If you still need to meet with your child’ teacher, you may contact the school office or the teacher directly. Although short, the conference has value to both parent and teacher. Teachers get a “parent perspective” of the child and suggestions for helping him/her. Parents hear first hand about how their child interacts with the teacher and the other students.
The most positive outcome of the parent-teacher conference meeting is increased communication between the parent and teacher, which many times lessen tension often times caused by second hand information. Keep in touch with the school.
Happy Birthday!!

HELP!
Mr. Spurlock, a teacher at OCMS, is in need of an OCES 4-6 parent who would be willing to transport his son from the 4-6 Campus to OCMS in the afternoons. If you can help, please contact Mr. Spurlock.
THANKS !
Thank you to the parents in 4A and 4B for providing the delicious lunch for the faculty. It was great! We sure do appreciate it!
The fourth grade students and teachers appreciate all the parent assistance they received during Prayer Day last week. A special thanks to Elaine Robertson for organizing this special day of activities and prayers.
