LOOK WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE 4-6 CAMPUS
The fifth grade students have been studying explorers of the Americas in Social Studies. They used a variety of resources to investigate the nationality of the explorers and what each discovered on their expeditions.
Even though sixth grade students can’t vote or run for office, they have learned they can campaign for candidates, learn about important issues and express their views (by wearing campaign buttons; by making posters or banners). The students spent last Thursday and Friday making posters to adorn the hallway. Take a look!

Grace Wright and Sydney Sandefur are rehearsing movement illustrating a section of Charles Ives’ “Variations on America.” The 4-6 Campus Singing Aces will perform for the Saturday Musicale Club on November 8th at 3 PM at St. John United Methodist Church. They will present the same American Music Program on November 11th at 8:15 AM for their fellow students at a Veterans’ Day assembly in the gym.
Mrs. Hardesty’s math class is using new calculators which the school purchased. The students were multiplying higher level numbers in class, then checking their work using the new calculators.
