ATTENTION PARENTS
Enclosed in the newsletter is a parent survey for you to fill out. This year our school, along with the K-3 Campus, OCMS, and OCHS, will be going through a certification process. This process is considered to be a constructive exercise for the school, designed for improvement of the educational process. This survey is apart of this certification process. We ask that you please take the time to answer the survey questions. If you have any questions, please contact the school office. We appreciate your time given to this important process.
CAFETERIA NEWS
Next Friday, September 21st, we will be serving Little Caesar’s Pizza for lunch. Please fill out the attached form indicating what your child will be eating for lunch on this day. If your child would like extra pieces of pizza, they must have enough money in his/her account. Extras may not be charged. Please return these forms to the cafeteria by Tuesday, September 18th.

SCHOOL PICTURES
School pictures will be Friday, September 21st. This will be a non-uniform day for the students. The students are encouraged to look nice and dress in bright colors. Enclosed is a picture order form. Please fill the order form out and return to school by Wednesday, September 19th. Order forms must be completed and turned in before pictures can be purchased.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
- Mass on Thursday will be planned by Mr. Gary’s class. Fr. Richard Meredith will be celebrating with us. Please join us!
- School Pictures will be Friday, September 21st. Choose something colorful to wear to school this day. Return attached order form
- Bus Safety 9:00 a.m. for all students, September 26th.
MEDIA CENTER NEWS
Your child is learning about Internet Safety in his/her computer classes. Please read this important information pertaining to cyber safety and protecting your children.

Thanks to all who attended our first meeting this past Thursday evening. Parents and teachers involvement will be our success.
Attached is the order form for the Steak Dinner/Auction fundraiser on Saturday, October 20th. Make plans to join the evening’s activities. Bring a couple of family members or friends. You WILL have fun!

FLAG RAISERS
Each morning students from Ms. Castlen’s Fifth Grade classroom raises the American flag on the flagpole in front of school. Each afternoon they are responsible to bring the flag down and fold it correctly. Thanks to these dependable students our flag flies each day.
