| Another class went to the Museum, where Sister Sharon Sullivan, congregational leader (in the background) told the students the story of Father Paul Volk and the “blessed bricks” that were used to build Mount Saint Joseph Academy, which is now the Center. |
The third class began in the Madonna Room in the Center, where Sister Pam Mueller, left, talked to them about their theme for the day, “fully rely on God.” Sister Pam is the campus minister at Brescia University. Each of the classes went to all three locations. |

| The students filled the chapel as they sang the opening hymn. There were 79 sixth-graders involved in the prayer day. |

Following lunch in the park, the students gathered around the statue of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, as Sister Ann explained the history of the patron saint of New Orleans. Afterward, the students gathered in the chapel to listen to a letter from God, before heading back to school. |
