Great News from the Kentucky Board of Education
July 2, 2008
We just received a letter stating that the Kentucky Board of Education has accepted the recommendation from the KNPSC to re-certify the Owensboro Catholic K-3 Campus as meeting all standards in accord with KRS156.160.
The certification is good from July 1, 2008-June 30, 2013, at which point we will undergo the Accreditation Process again.
Much work and effort was put in by all faculty to receive this Certification, and they all deserve a big thank you and a pat on the back! This certification assures that quality education programs that comply with curriculum, certification, and textbook standards are being met in the Owensboro Catholic School System!
As many of you have heard me say before- We can hold OCS up to any public school and show you how we not only measure up, but exceed those measurements. PLUS we offer a Faith-Based Education, which you can only get in a Private Catholic School! AMEN!
