ocsWelcome Back to School!
Without a doubt the events of the last week have been an unforgettable “experience” for everyone. There are still some homes and areas without power and we are praying that power and electricity is restored to these places very soon.
Many people are under the assumption that we will not have to make up days missed if our county was operating under a “State of Emergency”. Please note that this is NOT KDE’s policy. We would have to miss 20 days before it would even be considered.
As soon as we know the exact plan for making the days up that information will be passed on to you. Please note that we WILL be in school on February 16. (This day had originally been a scheduled day off from school.)

ocsDue to recent events the Winter Family Funfest, scheduled for February 21, has been postponed. We will let you know the new date as soon as possible.

The Kick Off for the Worlds Finest Chocolate Sale has also been pushed back. More details will be sent home soon.

ocsGrandparents Day a Big Success
Thankfully we were able to have Grandparents Day before the inclement weather hit Owensboro. Thank you to the PTO Members who helped direct traffic and prepare trays of cookies. And of course, thank you to all of the Grandparents who came and spent the afternoon with us.

ocsWe will be discussing, as a faculty, how to make up some of the things we had planned for Catholic Schools Week. We will not reschedule Mass since we will be going to the Sportscenter for the Rainbow Mass in April
