CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK
January 26- K-3 Campus Grandparents Day- 12:30 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church- followed by Open House with refreshments in the school
January 27- Staff Appreciation Day- Let your child's teacher know how much you appreciate her by sending an email or short note or have your child make a card!
January 28- OCS System wide Mass- 10:00- Sports Center & Parent Appreciation Day
January 29- Fun in Faith Day- Teachers have planned fun- faith centered activities throughout the day
January 30- Student Appreciation Day- Free Dress Day- Friday- ACES Spirit PEP Rally
Grandparents Day- All Grandparents are invited! If your child does not have a grandparent who can attend, parents are welcome to act as a “fill in” grandparent. Each grade level will sing a special song for their grandparents in the church and then everyone is invited back to the school for an Open House and refreshments. If your child will be leaving with his or her grandparent, please send a note to school.
OCS System Wide Celebration Mass- An annual tradition during Catholic Schools Week is when all four schools gather together at the Sports Center to celebrate Mass together. All friends and family are invited and encouraged to come. Mass will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 28.
ATTACHED IS A PERMISSION FORM FOR STUDENTS TO RIDE THE BUS TO THE SPORTS CENTER. PLEASE SIGN AND RETURN TO SCHOOL ON MONDAY!
PTO OFFICERS NEEDED for 2009-2010- It is already time to begin looking ahead to next school year. Prayerfully consider if you are interested in serving on the PTO Executive Board. If you are, please contact Michelle Mayfield.

• February 20 & 21- Winter Family Funfest-A GREAT opportunity to invite new families to see what OCS is all about!
