Just some notes from our staff:

• All free and reduced applications are CONFIDENTIAL.  Applications are available online or at the Main Office.
• Each student has been assigned a ‘Pin’ number to be used for breakfast and lunch.
• Money can be ‘banked’ in each student ’s account for use during the school year.
• You can put as much or as little money into the account as often as you like.  Each student needs to maintain a positive balance throughout the year.
• If payments are made for more than one student, please specify the amount you would like to go to each student.  Please make sure your students ’s pin number is on the check.
• The student’s picture will be taken and will appear when the pin number is entered into the register.  This way, all parents can be assured that no other student will be able to access your child’s money.
• When an account is getting low, the student will be informed.  A check needs to be sent immediately to maintain a positive account balance.
• When a student pays cash at lunch, no change will be given.  The change will go into their account.

Cafeteria Accounts

We realize it can be difficult to keep track of fees and payments to the school district.  To help simplify payment of school food service fees, The Diocese of Owensboro School Food Service has enrolled in an internet-based service called Café Prepay. This service is a website where you can pay for your child’s Breakfast and Lunch meals using your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Participation in this is voluntary; you may enroll at any time.  There is a website charge of $2.50 for each transaction. The School Food Service will not receive any part of this charge.

Café Prepay also enables you at no charge to view your student’s participation report, which means you can monitor your child’s spending and see exactly what they’re eating each day (via the Participation Report link.)

To get started, you will first enroll at cafeprepay.com.  You will be asked to enter your email address and a password, which will be used each time you log in.  Please note that a valid email address is required and that Café Prepay stores any necessary personal information in a secure, offline database which is accessed only to process payments and send payment confirmation via email.
