Academic Team
The Academic Team represents Owensboro Catholic Middle School at the Governor's Cup Competition. The event is managed by the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition. Students participate in written assessment tests and quick recall. During the first semester, quick recall meets are held with local middle schools.
Students are expected to maintain no less than a 'B' average. During the Fall, students attend one practice per week. As the academic season progresses towards the February Governor's Cup Competition the number of practices per week increase.
